Notably, John Abraham and Akshay Kumar made headlines last year as their films – ‘Satyameva Jayate’ and ‘Gold’ -clashed at the ticket counters. However, both the films performed well at the box-office. At an event in Mumbai, when John was asked about his upcoming film, this is what he said.

Referring to his collaboration film with Akshay Kumar (‘Desi Boyz’), John Abraham was quick to reply, “Make some noise for the desi boys! What else can I say?”

While talking about the clash, the ‘Batla House’ actor said, “Akshay and I are dear friends. In fact, day before yesterday, we messaged each other. And there is absolutely no problem. We are just releasing two films on the same day. There is a lot of space and the audience is getting to choose from the best. I can say that the film is really good.”
