John Abraham to work in a football film

The ones who know and admire actor John Abraham will be aware of the fact that he is a die-hard fan of football himself. The actor owns an Indian professional football franchise North East United FC too. After playing this game onscreen in his 2007 release ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal’, the actor is ready to score a goal yet again on the big screen with his next project. Recently, after completing the shooting for ‘Parmanu’, the actor is now planning his next which will be a project based on soccer.

While talking about it at an event, the actor said, “It’s a true story and a fantastic script. This film will be produced by me. I think nobody understands football the way I do (in the film industry). You can call me narcissist on this, but that is the truth. I’m passionate about the game and I’m learning it everyday.” [sic] (Also Check: ‘Parmanu’: John Abraham and Diana Penty as army officers are bang on)
