John Abraham is one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood. The handsome hunk is a thorough gentleman and has been never involved in any wrongdoings. In a recent chat with Mumbai Mirror, the ‘Force 2’ actor spoke at length about the growing threat towards women and the cruelty towards animals in our country.

Elaborating on the same, Abraham said, “As a proud Indian, I have the right to look at things happening in the country critically. I say this on record that India is not a safe place for women and animals. We’re one of the few countries where we disrobe a woman by just looking at her. It’s sad and getting worse. I’m scared, and this makes me question the society and the country I live in. I don’t endorse capital punishment, but I believe we need to instil the fear of death in these sick men to ensure that they don’t commit such crimes.”

We second John’s point. Until and unless a strict action is taken against the culprits, the crimes would continue to grow with each passing day.

Coming to the ‘Parmaanu’ actor’s work front, John will next be seen in ‘Satyameva Jayate’, directed by Milap Milan Zaver. The film featuring Manoj Bajpayee, and Aisha Sharma, is about a fight against corruption. It is set to release on Independence Day, clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’. Besides this movie, John has ‘RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter’ opposite Mouni Roy and ‘Batla House’ lined up.
