Malvika Raaj Bagga was born on September 18, 1990, in Mumbai into a film-oriented family. Her father, Bobby Raaj, is a filmmaker, and her mother, Reena Raaj, is a producer. She is the niece of veteran actress Anita Raj and has a sister, Sonakshi Raaj, a fashion designer. Starting her career as a child artist, Malvika later ventured into modelling and acting, participating in the Femina Miss India contest in 2010. She made her debut as a lead in the Telugu film Jayadev (2017) and appeared in the Hindi action film Squad (2021).

On November 29, 2023, Malvika married entrepreneur Pranav Bagga in a beautiful destination wedding at The Westin Goa.
