Kader Khan’s mortal remains

Veteran actor-writer Kader Khan, who died on January 1, 2019, will be buried today at a cemetery in Canada. It is to be noted that Kader Khan died after a prolonged illness at a hospital in Canada. He was 81.

Talking to the news agency PTI, Kader Khan’s son Sarfaraz said, “The last rites will be performed here in Canada as we have our entire family here. He is going to be buried at approximately 2:30 pm as per Canadian time at Meadowvale cemetery.

According to reports, Kader Khan was suffering from supranuclear palsy, which can cause loss of balance and dementia in a person’s body. It has also been reported that Khan was kept on a ventilator few days prior to his death.

The whole of Bollywood is mourning the death of the legendary actor. Everyone from Govinda, Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher to textile minister Smriti Irani mourned the death of the legendary actor.

Born in Kabul, Kader Khan made his acting debut in 1973 with Rajesh Khanna’s ‘Daag’ and has featured in over 300 films. He has also written dialogues for over 250 movies. Before becoming an actor, he had written dialogues for Randhir Kapoor-Jaya Bachchan’s ‘Jawani Diwani’.

As a screenwriter, Khan collaborated with Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra. His films with Desai include ‘Dharam Veer’, ‘Ganga Jamuna Saraswati’, ‘Coolie’, ‘Desh Premee’, ‘Suhaag’, ‘Parvarish’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. His films with Mehra include ‘Jwalamukhi’, ‘Sharaabi’, ‘Lawaaris’ and ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’.
