The actress recently shared her no-makeup pictures on Instagram, as she wanted to drive home the message that true beauty lies in accepting one’s true self. However, she was slammed by the netizens. Kajal took to the Instagram and posted her no makeup pictures. She wrote, “The only way we can truly be happy is when we start accepting who we are rather than defining or carving a different image for ourselves. Although makeup beautifies our outer persona, does it build our character and define who we are? True beauty lies, in accepting ourselves for how lovely we are.

As soon as Kajal shared this post, netizens called out the irony in her message. Some criticised her for talking about real beauty by sharing edited pics, while others said that in her very next post, there will be “a bit of Kajal with a lot of makeup”.
