Kajol, who starred in the horror film Maa (2025), has confirmed that a sequel is being considered, though she clarified that nothing concrete has been decided yet. The film, directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Ajay Devgn, centres around her character’s struggle to save her daughter from a malicious, evil spirit.
Kajol Hints At Maa Sequel With Shaitaan Crossover
During a recent interview with Mid-Day, Kajol was asked about the possibility of a sequel. She shared, “I have PTSD from the climax shoot. I think when we shoot such intense films, they alter us.” She explained, “You have to ask Ajay Devgn this because he is the one producing it. But honestly, we’re just thinking about it. There’s nothing concrete.”
When questioned about a crossover with Devgn’s Shaitaan (2024), Kajol replied, “We’ve thought about it. Everything is up in the air right now.” Reports suggest that Karan Johar is planning a sequel to Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, the actress laughed and replied, “I haven’t heard about it, but thank you for telling me. Naturally, I cannot confirm or deny it.”
