Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan to take off to Kargil for ‘Kalank’ shoot

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan will be next seen together in Abhishek Varman’s ‘Kalank‘, a Karan Johar’s multi-starrer home production. The film also stars, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles.

The film’s team was shooting in Mumbai since last few months. Now, recent reports suggest that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will be heading to Kargil for the remaining shoot of the film. Besides some pivotal scenes, Varun and Alia will also be shooting for a song sequence in the valleys.

A source close to the film told Mumbai Mirror, “Varun who returned to the city on Thursday night after filming a cameo with Salman Khan for ‘Bharat’ in Abu Dhabi, has already begun to prepping up for the upcoming schedule of Karan Johar’s ‘Kalank’. Alia and he will head out on Sunday”.

The multi-starer film ‘Kalank’ is produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. The high-octane period drama is set in the 1940’s era. The shootings of the films were kick-started in May this year.

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were last seen together in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, a Shashank Khaitan’s directorial that released in 2017.
