Kangana Ranaut facwes backlash for her response to Rihanna's tweet on Farmers protest

Twitter was taken by surprise last evening after International pop star Rihanna tweeted in support of the Farmers’ protest in Delhi, India. In response to Rihanna’s tweets, Kangana Ranaut called her a ‘fool’ and a ‘dummy’ whilst stating that the said restrictions on the supply of internet during the protest was against terrorists (while referring to the protesting farmers). This did not go down well with the social media users and the woke citizens who have been tweeting in support of farmers ever since the protests began.

Sharing a news piece about the Farmers’ protest, Rihanna wrote: “Why aren’t we talking about this? #FarmersProtest.” Soon after, the tweet went viral with fans stating that it has taken a pop star’s tweet for the issue to be globally noted. Kangana responded to it saying, “No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India, so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like USA… Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies.”

Shortly, Kangana faced backlash on social media with fans branding her as ‘bhakt’ while many asking her to not meddle in everything and anything. Check out the reactions.

Earlier, Kangana had mentioned losing brand deals after she called farmers protesting on the roads as ‘terrorists’. She had written, “Six brands cancelled contracts with me some were already signed some were closing n said I called Farmer terrorists so they can’t have me as an ambassador. Today I want to say each and every Indian who is supporting these riots is also a terrorist including anti-national brands/.”
