Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut says that she has taken her pheras with her costar R. Madhavan. The Queen actress was promoting her upcoming film Tanu Weds Manu Returns with R Madhavan in association with Sunsilk. The event was designed as a ‘sangeet’ ceremony which complimented the theme of marriage that forms the base of the film.
The actors disclosed that they were truly married without their realization during the shoot. Kangana Ranaut
said, “We had to create real marriage, so once I was done with first four Pehras, I had to ask Anand ji, sir we have taken four pehras, but he said, don’t worry, we will do six and then stop, but we ended up taking close 25-30 pehras the scene, so I think, I am married to Maddy for numerous times”.
She further added, “It was difficult, there is no character, which can be played with ease, but for me, I think, it is a big honor that such a difficult role was given to me, with so much confidence. I am not married yet, but I think I love “ladies Sangeet” that is best part, where all the aunties, with little booze in them, go crazy and dance, I just love it.”
‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ is a sequel to the commercially successful and critically acclaimed 2011 film ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. Both the films have been directed by Anand L. Rai. Kangana Ranaut portrays a double role in the film, one of Tanu and the other of a Haryanvi athlete. Tanu Weds Manu is all set to release on May 22, 2015.
