Kamal Jain wrote a lengthy post on micro-blogging site Twitter and discussed about being ill.

There were also reports of Kangana not being by Kamal’s side in this trying time. Now, Kangana has broken her silence and in an interview to Zoom TV put all the speculations to the rest. The ‘Gangster’ actress said, “He is doing fine. The reports are misleading. He fell sick last week and is on his way to recovery. I am in touch with him every day. Request everyone to please stop backing sensational reports.”

‘Manikarnika’ deals with the life and times of Rani Laxmibai and how she fought against the British empire. The film has faced a lot of hiccups already with the original director Krish pulling out of the project midway citing commitment to other projects. There was another controversy regarding Sonu Sood’s exit and Kangana had accused of him being uncomfortable working under a female director.

We sincerely hope and pray that Kamal Jain recovers from his illness and gets well soon. ‘Manikarnika’ is scheduled to release on January 25, 2019.
