BJP MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut expressed her disappointment when a group of youngsters failed to name India’s President, Droupadi Murmu, and mistakenly referred to her as ‘Murunali.’
Kangana Ranaut Reacts To Young Kids Misnaming President Of India
Kangana took to Instagram and slammed the young kids for failing to name President of India Droupadi Murmu name correctly, instead, they called her Murunali. Sharing the reel on her Instagram story, she wrote, “War won’t kill us but grasshopper brain cell generation surely will,” in reference to the escalating conflicts between India and Pakistan.
The actress’ reaction seemed to reflect her concern about the state of affairs and the lack of awareness among the younger generation. The clip showcases an anchor asking a group of girls, “Who is the President of India?”
One girl responds, “I forgot his name.”
Another adds, “Murunali, I don’t know. Murunu or something.”
A third girl says, “Ram Nath Kovind, right?” Meanwhile, a fourth girl confidently says, “Jawaharlal Nehru, he was the first president.”
