Kangana Ranaut To Star In A Hollywood Movie

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut was reportedly gearing up for her Hollywood debut with the horror drama Blessed Be the Evil. Reports stated that she would play the lead role in a story about a Christian couple who purchase an abandoned farm with a dark past after enduring a tragic miscarriage. However, with no updates about the film’s shoot surfacing, speculation is now rife that the actress may have stepped away from the project.

While previously no information was known about the film’s shoot and no confirmation was given by the makers, Kangana Ranaut has confirmed at the News 18 Bharat Summit 2026 that she is in talks for some Hollywood projects. Talking about her Hollywood offers, the actress said, “I have some offers, lekin, depending on my time and inclination, we’ll take a call.”

In 2021, while promoting Thalaivii, Kangana Ranaut stated at a press conference that audiences should discourage American and English films. She reasoned her statement, saying they are dominating Indian screens. The actress urged unity over regional divides and encouraged audiences to prioritise and celebrate Indian cinema across languages.

Earlier, in 2017, Kangana Ranaut told Mid-Day that moving to the West would be unwise. Especially at a time when Hollywood’s theatrical business was declining due to the rise of digital media. She said Asia was in a lucrative entertainment phase and added that she wouldn’t give in to overseas temptations. Her remarks came nearly two years after Priyanka Chopra transitioned to Hollywood.
