Karan Johar missing Yash Chopra

Writer-director Karan Johar, whose ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is all set to hit the theatres this Diwali, has been facing opposition from various organisations, due to the presence of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in the movie. After being banned in four states by Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI), Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had issued a threat of vandalism against the theatres who dared to release it. However, relief came in when politician biggies like Rajnath Singh and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis came out in support of the movie and assured every kind of police protection for a safe release.

In the midst of all this hullabaloo which can take a toll on anyone, it does not come as a surprise when Karan is missing someone very close to him. He is none other than the Late director, Yash Chopra.

Karan took to his Twitter account this morning, and wrote this, “I miss you Yash uncle…I miss your spirit…your positivity…your sense of community… and your ability to love unconditionally….”
