This makes me proud Nana: Karan Johar is overjoyed as Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor welcome baby girl

Filmmaker Karan Johar has always been very close to actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Johar has always been an integral part of Alia’s life, so much so that he is also a father figure to her as well as a mentor. Moreover, Alia even made her debut with Student Of The Year which was directed by Karan himself. Well, considering this, Karan Johar is currently overjoyed and his heart is full of love as Alia Bhatt just welcomed a baby girl.

He took to his Instagram and shared a picture with Alia and Ranbir from their wedding days and backed it with a heartfelt note. KJo mentioned that the two have made him a proud Nana (grandfather). His note read, “My heart is full of love…. Welcome to the world baby girl… you have so much love waiting for you….. I love you @aliaabhatt and RK!! To the moon and back!!!! So this makes me a proud Nana!!”

Earlier, after the Brahmastra couple got married, Karan wrote a letter for the newlyweds that read, “It’s days like this that we live for …where there is the most beautiful blend of family, love and absolute emotion….. overwhelmed and so full of love in my heart… my darling @aliaabhatt this is such a beautiful life step and my love and blessings go with you everywhere … Ranbir ! I love you… now and forever!You are now my son in law…badhai ho and here’s to decades of ख़ुशियाँ”

While sharing the happy news, Alia called her daughter a ‘magical girl’. Her official statement read, “And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here and what a magical girl she is (heart emoji) We are officially bursting with love- blessed and obsessed parents!! Love love love Alia and Ranbir”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are blessed with a baby girl on November 6.
