Karan Johar BREAKS SILENCE on reports of 3-film deal with newlyweds Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani

It was recently reported that Karan Johar’s production house, Dharma Productions, has signed a three-film deal with newlyweds Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. Now, Karan has reacted to the rumours. The filmmaker made it clear that there’s no truth in the rumours.

When Times of India recently asked Karan if the rumours are true, he replied, “Not at all.” For the uninitiated, Sidharth and Kiara have starred together in one film i.e. Shershaah. Shershaah was based on the life of Vikram Batra. Sidharth and Kiara’s chemistry in the film won many hearts. The film was directed by Vishnuvardhan and produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment.

Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot on February 7, 2023. The couple’s wedding took place in Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace in the presence of their close friends and family members. Karan Johar was a part of the couple’s wedding.

Karan’s note on Sid-Kiara wedding

After Sid-Kiara’s wedding, Karan had shared their wedding picture on Instagram along with a note. The filmmaker’s note read, “I met him a decade and a half ago… Silent, strong and still so sensitive… I met her many years after… silent, strong and so sensitive in equal measure… Then they met each other and I realised in that moment that these two pillars of strength and dignity can make an irreplaceable bond and create the most magical love story together…. Watching them is a fairy tale that is rooted in tradition and family.”

Karan added, “As they exchanged vows on a mandap of mohabbat everyone around them felt the pulse… felt the energy… I sat proud, elated and bursting with only love for the two of them! I love you Sid… I love you Ki… May today be your forever.”

After getting married, Sidharth-Kiara hosted a reception in Delhi. A few days ago, they also hosted a reception in Mumbai which was attended by Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Kriti Sanon among others.
