Kareena Kapoor Khan has landed in the middle of a heated social media debate after a video from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport went viral. The clip shows her seemingly skipping a long queue at the security check and moving ahead of other passengers. As a result, the video quickly grabbed attention and reignited conversations around celebrity privilege in public spaces.
Kareena Kapoor Skipping Airport Queue Sparks Internet Outrage
In the viral clip, Kareena Kapoor walks past a line of passengers and heads straight toward the security area. However, it remains unclear whether any special permissions or protocols were in place. Still, the visuals triggered strong reactions online. While some users questioned the apparent preferential treatment, others defended her, arguing that celebrities often follow different security arrangements or face time constraints.

Why do celebrities get to do that? Who gave them this entitlement?
Other people who are waiting at the airport also have urgent flights to catch, It's not fair to everyone. pic.twitter.com/IQ6sm1jXZp
Meanwhile, criticism poured in across platforms. One user wrote, “Kareena Kapoor broke the line at the airport and straight away moved to the gate. Why do celebrities get to do that? Another commented, “Airport queue scene: Queen Kareena Kapoor arrives! A simple queue can expose the gap between a society of dignified citizenry and a nation of slaves where all are entrenched in the class, caste, superiority, and inferiority power game.”

A third post read, “Why VIP racism still happening in India despite even PM Modi warning against it? Are people fool to stand in queue & celebrities can fly over them & pass?” One user even tagged official authorities and wrote, “Dear @MoCA_GoI and @HMOIndia What kind of special privileges has been accorded to these woke bollywood elites?? And under which law it has been sanctioned?? What a pity!! Common citizens stand in queue and these Dolts behave like super VIPs!!”

Despite the backlash, Kareena has not responded yet. Meanwhile, she attended an IPL match at Wankhede Stadium. She appeared with Saif Ali Khan and their sons, Taimur and Jeh, as they cheered for the Mumbai Indians. Ibrahim Ali Khan also joined them at the match.
As the debate continues, the viral video has once again highlighted the ongoing tension between celebrity status and public accountability. While some argue that stars operate under different protocols, many believe that public spaces should follow the same rules for everyone. Until there is clarity on what actually happened, the conversation around ‘VIP culture’ is unlikely to die down anytime soon.
