Amitabh Bachchan Posts About ‘Anxiety’ Days After Samay Raina Roasting Row; Writes, “Leave Everything And Sit Back”

Veteran Bollywood actor is a man who prefer to pen his thoughts and views than just preach it verbally. The actor – who is known for sharing his views on life, advice for fans, comments on current topics and more via his personal blog and on X (formerly Twitter), recently penned a note about anxiety and balancing ideas.

It’s to be noted that Bachchan’s post comes just days after comedian Samay Raina’s latest stand-up special, Still Alive, went viral. For the unversed, in the special, Samay spoke about his controversial show India’s Got Latent and even mentioned the ‘Sholay’ star a few times. This included the comedian roasting Bachchan saying, “Sir, aapne itna polio ka ad kiya, phir bhi apne bete ko paon pe kyu nahi khada kar paye sir.”

Amitabh Bachchan On Anxiety & Balancing Fresh Ideas

Taking to his blog, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Each day brings on fresh thoughts and ideas .. and the desire to pursue each one with the diligence it requires .. All of it cannot be assembled in one ‘go’ .. so you work on the principle of ‘one at a time’ .. Fine .. but the mind keeps reminding of what has yet to be done and the anxiety of it ..”

Further talking about the difficulty of concentrating on a single task in today’s fast-paced world – where information is constantly changing, Big B added, “So you leave everything and sit back .. hoping that the mind shall stop its ‘adventure’ .. but no it does not .. and the storm of the internet blows strong and drives your attention to so many aspects that it becomes very difficult to assess what and which is the ‘real deal’ .. The paucity of content , that could be of necessity , is at times overlooked or wishes to attend to all.”

Amitabh Bachchan further wrote, “Now though there are provisions to find and correct thoughts and search for answers, has dramatically improved .. the speed of knowing is now at the press of a button .. not the ‘think button’ of the cerebrum .. that has been overshadowed by this medium called the ‘net’ .. and the revelations coerce one to follow the latest and drive past the earlier usual.” Read his full blog here

Ayaz Khan Threatens Samay Over Comment

While Amitabh has not commented directly on Samay Raina roasting him, Ajaz Khan slammed the comedian and issued an open threat to Raina. He was quoted saying, “Aab iss badtameez aadmi ko main kya bolu? Yeh apne maa baap se bhi aise hi baat karta hoga shayad. Hindustan ke itne bade mahanayak Amitabh Bachchan sahab, jisne Hindustan ko sadiyoon se entertain kiya, aaj unko, unke wife ko, unke bacche ko koi bhi aake kuch bole jaa raha hai. Samay Raina, tera samay kharab chalu ho gaya aaj se. Mujhe dikhna bhi mat tu. Main toh Bachchan sahab ka bahut bada fan hu. Bahut saare fan hai Bachchan sahab ke jo tujhe dhoond rahe hai abhi. Beta tu thoda izzat se chal.”

Ajaz – threatening the comedian, added, “Mujhe mat dikhna kahin par tu, jidhar dikha udhar tera kaan check karunga main. Yaad rakhna.”
