Katrina Kaif finally speaks on the PT Usha biopic; says, “I’d love to do a biopic based on a woman”

Katrina Kaif is currently busy promoting her next film ‘Bharat’, which also stars Salman Khan. Speculations about Katrina doing the PT Usha’s biopic is gaining momentum. Finally, Katrina gives her statement about the news which is making headlines. Check out the deets below.

Reportedly, the film is based on the life of sports legend PT Usha. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the ‘Bharat’ actress was asked to comment on the same. Kat replied saying, “I’d love to do a biopic based on a woman who fought such intense battles, who has seen such heights and crashes. Actually, there are quite a few interesting biopics I’d like to do. But the only film I’ve signed so far is ‘Sooryavanshi”.

Adding to the speculations of her being roped in for the project, she said, “I’m in talks for quite a few interesting projects but I never get into details unless a deal is signed, sealed and delivered. Sometimes some projects become discussions which don’t materialize and then when they go to another person, they get burdened because your name is attached to it. So, I don’t talk about a film that is under discussion.”

On the professional front, after the release ‘Bharat’, she will begin shooting for Rohit Shetty’s film ‘Sooryavanshi’ starring Akshay Kumar in the lead.
