Katrina: Salman loves Akshay, he loves Rohit. So, I don’t think he will let his film clash with ‘Sooryavanshi’

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is one of the most hardworking and honest performers in the industry. The diva has always proved her critics wrong and takes criticism in her stride. Kat has also got a very warm personality and knows how to maintain a balance between her personal and professional front.

Now, Katrina will be starring in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ and this film is being directed by Rohit Shetty. It is being widely reported that ‘Sooryavanshi’ will be clashing with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Inshallah’ at the box-office. Both films are slated to release on the occasion of Eid in 2020.

The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actress, in an interview with DNA, talked about the clash of ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Inshallah’. She said, “Salman loves Akshay, he loves Rohit. He will always be supportive of me in the work place. So, I don’t think he will let his film clash with ‘Sooryavanshi’.”

Kat was also quite ecstatic to work with Akshay and Rohit Shetty and said, “I am happy to be back on a set with Akshay Kumar and Rohit (Shetty) sir. On so many levels, Akshay is so special. Ours is a long association and that doesn’t go away with time. When I was standing next to him on the terrace shooting for the photograph that we did to announce the film, I was genuinely happy. It was a good feeling.”

She further added, “Rohit sir is someone whom I have always admired. The cinematic world that he puts together — the mega franchises (‘Golmaal’, ‘Singham’, ‘Simmba’) which he has come to be known for — is incredible. People go to theatres to watch a Rohit Shetty film. The larger-than-life cinema he makes is admirable. He is a self-made man and his achievements are commendable.”

Katrina Kaif is now awaiting her next release ‘Bharat’ alongside Salman Khan. This Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is slated to release on the occasion of Eid.
