Despite injury, Katrina Kaif attends Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gully Boy’ screening

Despite being injured, Katrina Kaif has recently attended the special screening of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gully Boy’. Katrina Kaif attended the screening along with ‘Bharat’ director Ali Abbas Zafar and was spotted walking with the help of a stick. Kat donned a simple floral kurta and was all smiles at the venue.

‘Gully Boy’ made a collection of Rs 18.70 crore at the box office on its opening day. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the film was premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 9. The film has been getting rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gully Boy’ seems to have impressed celebrities across the world including Hollywood star Will Smith, who took to Instagram and congratulated Ranveer for his mind-blowing performance in the film.

Notably, Katrina had also attended Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding reception last year. Kat is said to be a good friend of Alia Bhatt, who is currently dating Ranbir Kapoor.

The film ‘Gully Boy’ showcases the hip-hop culture in Mumbai and is mainly inspired by the lives of two Indian rappers – Divine and Naezy. In the film, Ranveer plays the role of an aspiring rapper, who wants to make it big. Alia plays the role of his girlfriend, who is an aspiring doctor.

Katrina Kaif is currently busy working on her next project ‘Bharat’ which also features Salman Khan in the lead role. The teaser of the film garnered a positive response. The makers are yet to reveal her entire look from the film.

‘Gully Boy’ is Alia’s highest opener and Ranveer’s second highest after his last film ‘Simmba’, which minted Rs 20 crore at the ticket window on its opening day.
