Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Kedarnath’ is all set to release on November 30 this year. After a nearly two months period of uncertainty, the shooting of the film has finally resumed.

After director-producer Abhishek Kapoor’s fallout with KriArj Entertainment, the film was stuck in a limbo. In fact, Sara Ali Khan quickly signed on Karan Johar-Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’, opposite Ranveer Singh. There were speculations that this might turn out to be her debut film. However, Ronnie Screwvala came on board as the new producer of the film, and the film got back on track.

Abhishek Kapoor was ecstatic as he tweeted about the new release date.

Ronnie Screwvala and his creative production house RSVP joined hands with director Abhishek Kapoor to add to their already impressive slate of films. Soon after the duo joined hands, the cast and crew began the last schedule of Kedarnath as the Prime Minister opened the gates to the holy temple of Kedarnath. Kedarnath is an eternal love story set in the backdrop of the flash floods that wrecked the temple town in June of 2013. It is a potent combination of love and religion, passion, and spirituality. The floods that took the lives of over a hundred thousand people is a powerful backdrop for this epic love story.
All this to and fro has only served to drum up the excitement for the film.
