‘Khaali Peeli’: Restless Ananya Panday and a calm Ishaan Khatter driving into 2020 with this new still

We will soon see a fresh pair on the silver screen as Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter are to star together in the movie ‘Khaali Peeli’. Recently a still from the movie was released by Ananya and Ishaan and we are surely in for something different.

Ananya recently took to her Instagram to share a still from her next ‘Khaali Peeli’. The picture features Ishaan Khatter in his taxi driver avatar with the first few buttons of his uniform open. Ananya seems to be in a panic mode as the two look at each other through the rearview mirror.  The caption read, “Driving into 2020 ??❤️ #KhaaliPeeli(sic)”

Ananya Panday also shared a picture from the set of ‘Khaali Peeli’ along with Ishaan Khatter and director Maqbool Khan. The caption read, “last working day of 2019 ??? can’t wait for what 2020 has in store for us ????❤️ #KhaaliPeeli”

‘Khaali Peeli’ is also Ali Abbas Zafar’s maiden production. Ali Abbas Zafar was quoted as saying by PTI, “Khaali Peeli’s process has been organic — Maqbool, Himanshu (Kishan Mehra, co-producer) and I worked on the script for almost a year, and when we felt that it was totally baked, we took it to this enthusiastic young cast. I am happy that the studio is producing this film with us, apart from the other project that we are working on. We will soon announce our next big collaboration as well.”

‘Khaali Peeli’ is all set to release on June 12, 2020. Till then, stay tuned to this space for more updates.
