Kick 2 Confirmed with Salman Khan, but will Jacqueline give this one a miss?

Salman Khan-starrer ‘Kick’ that released in 2014 was a blockbuster at the box office. After the film’s release, there have been a lot of reports about the sequel, but there was no confirmation from the makers. However, today the makers have finally ended the guessing game and made an official announcement about ‘Kick 2’.

The official Twitter handle of Sajid Nadiadwala’s production, Nadiadwala Grandson tweeted, “The wait is over! #DEVILisBACK!! #SajidNadiadwala’s Kick 2 starring @BeingSalmanKhan releases Christmas 2019. @WardaNadiadwala.”

But if you notice, in the official announcement, they have only mentioned Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala’s name. In the first instalment of the film, Jacqueline Fernandez was the lead actress, so we wonder if she will be seen in the sequel or not.

Over the years a lot of news about Jacqueline not being part of ‘Kick 2’ have been doing the rounds and Deepika Padukone would be playing the female lead in the movie instead. For now, let’s just wait for an official announcement from the makers about the film’s leading lady.
