KL Rahul lists Athiya Shetty as his ‘partner’ before leaving for England tour; Is the couple finally making it official?

Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty has been grabbing the headlines ever since rumours of her romance with Indian cricketer KL Rahul started doing the rounds. While the alleged lovebirds have refrained from talking about their relationship, but their lovey-dovey social media posts for each other paints a different picture.

Interestingly, looks like Rahul has finally made their relationship official. According to a report in Hindustan Times, the cricketer had listed Athiya as his partner before leaving for the World Test Championship Final in England last month. Rahul had apparently even informed the BCCI about the same. Read on to know the details.

The same report further stated that Rahul and Athiya travelled in the same bubble as other cricketers and their family. The actress even stayed in Southampton with the team. A source was quoted saying in the daily as, “The couple left India together for England for the World Test Championship last month. Before leaving, the logistics department had asked all players for names of people travelling with each of them. The players were supposed to give the names of whether they would be travelling with wives or partners, for which KL Rahul listed Athiya Shetty as his partner. She travelled in the same bubble and stayed in Southampton with the team.”

In April this year, on KL Rahul’s birthday, Athiya had shared a few mirror selfies with him and wishing him she had written, “Grateful for you, happy birthday ??”
