Krrish 4 DELAYED After Hrithik Roshan, Aditya Chopra Don’t Agree On Rs 500 Cr VS Rs 350 Cr Budget Conflicts- Report

Hrithik Roshan led Krrish 4 appears to be caught in a standstill due to a financial disagreement between Hrithik and Aditya Chopra, according to recent reports. While Hrithik envisions the film with a budget of around Rs 500 crore, Aditya Chopra prefers to keep it limited to Rs 350 crore. As a result, the project has hit another roadblock and is currently in limbo. The film, which is still in the pre-production phase, is not likely to go on floors anytime soon. Sources suggest that Krrish 4 has been temporarily paused as the two key stakeholders have yet to reach a consensus on the budget.

Krrish 4 On Halt Due To Budget Conflicts Between Hrithik Roshan & Aditya Chopra?

As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Hrithik Roshan envisions Krrish 4 with a budget of close to Rs 500 crore. He believes the film requires spectacular visuals, advanced VFX, and extensive action sequences to meet global audience expectations. Conversely, Aditya Chopra feels that the budget should be kept under control and limited to around Rs 350 crore. He suggested that a more restrained budget will help mitigate risks and deliver better box office returns.

After multiple discussions, both parties have reportedly decided to put the project on hold for now. However, the film has not been officially shelved; it is merely paused until they can reach a mutual agreement.

Additionally, Hrithik is eyeing another acting project before fully committing to Krrish 4. He has reportedly listened to several scripts and is close to finalising one, with an official announcement about his next role expected soon. For now, Krrish 4 will not begin filming in 2026 as initially planned. The project will only move forward if Aditya Chopra agrees to increase the budget or if Hrithik decides to proceed with a new producer.
