Kushal Punjabi Death: Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, John Abraham mourn the death of the actor

On December 27 we were shocked to hear the news of popular actor Kushal Punjabi’s death. The 37-year-old had allegedly killed himself on Thursday night in his flat in Bandra, Mumbai. From television to Bollywood stars, everyone went in a state of shock after hearing the news of his suicide.

Kushal appeared on both small and big screens. Television stars like Karanvir Bohra, Ravi Dubey, Shweta Tiwari, and Karan Patel among others mourned the death of the actor. Also, Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, and John Abraham are saddened to hear about Kushal’s death.

On Kushal’s death, Akshay said, “I had worked with him… Everybody has their own thing. Some people are lucky enough to understand it, some don’t. Family also matters and we don’t know why people do such things. There must be some reason to it. But all I can say, is guys be brave enough, face the problem.” Kushal worked with Akshay in ‘Andaaz’.

Kushal worked with Farhan Akhtar in ‘Lakshya’ where he played Preity Zinta’s fiance in the movie. Farhan took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Shocked and saddened to hear of Kushal Punjabi taking his own life. Have fond memories of working with him on Lakshya and witnessing him kick everyone’s behind at boot camp. You will be missed brother. Condolences to the family.”

Ranvir Shorey is also sad that his childhood friend is no more. He tweeted, “I have known Kushal Punjabi since he was a kid. He was always an all rounder, a rare mix of talent and hard work. His commitment and dedication were an inspiration to everyone around him.”

Kushal’s last rites will take place at the Santacruz crematorium at 12:00 pm today.
