Hema Malini, Suniel Shetty, John Abraham Flaunt Their Inked Fingers
Veteran actress Hema Malini was seen in a mustard coloured suit as she stepped out to cast her vote. The BJP MP smiled and posed for the paps, showing the finger.
After voting in the BMC elections, actress and BJP MP Hema Malini urged citizens to participate, stating, “I encourage everyone to come out and vote. Just as I did this morning, your vote is crucial. If we want security, progress, clean air, and pothole-free roads in Mumbai, we all need to take responsibility. Exercising your right to vote is the way to make Mumbai—the city I believe is the best in the world—even better. I appeal to all Mumbai residents to vote for the right leaders.”
Suniel Shetty
Talking to PTI, the actor known for her role in The Border shared her experience, saying, “It was a good experience, and the arrangements were well organised. Everyone should come out and vote because this is the most important grassroots election. When your local area develops, the entire country benefits. We often blame the BMC, but they work tirelessly—sometimes late into the night. Issues like garbage and pollution require our collective responsibility. Mumbai’s infrastructure is advancing rapidly, and public cooperation is vital. I had no doubt about who to vote for; people tend to vote for those who work diligently.”
Actor John Abraham was seen helping his parents cross the road after casting their votes. He later posed for the paps and smiled before getting into his car. The Dilpomat actor flaunted his inked finger.
