In a recent interview with Hindi Rush, Manav Gohil spoke about the changes he has noticed in Ranveer Singh, especially after the success of Dhurandhar and a major shift in his personal life. “I think Ranveer is currently in a very important phase of his life; he is in transition. He has become a father and the face of one of the most historic films. He is already a superstar and a great actor, he deserves everything he has today. I’m sure there is a larger plan behind his choices. If you notice, his clothes, his media presence—everything has changed. His demeanour has evolved. He’s now seen in more structured, well-tailored looks. He feels like a different person,” Manav said.

He then addressed the conversation around Ranveer’s public image and growing responsibility. When asked about his Kantara mimicry controversies, Manav chose to focus on the bigger picture. “Ranveer isn’t just a superstar in India, but globally. I’m sure he has become more responsible in handling his stardom. There are people guiding these decisions, and Deepika Padukone herself is a very wise woman,” he added.

According to Sacnilk, after 20 days, the film’s domestic (net) collection stands at Rs 1,033.37 crore, with an Indian gross of Rs 1,237.21 crore. Overseas, Dhurandhar 2 collected Rs 4.00 crore on Day 20, bringing its total overseas gross to Rs 404.00 crore. This has pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 1,641.21 crore.

The first film, Dhurandhar, released in December 2025, became the highest-grossing film of the year and the top single-language earner. The sequel surpassed the lifetime collection of Dhurandhar within just 11 days of its release. Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt reprise their roles in this instalment.
