We bet you didn’t notice these 5 glaring mistakes in Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Sanju’

One of the most celebrated filmmakers of Bollywood Rajkumar Hirani has once again proved his mettle with ‘Sanju’. The film which is a biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt, features Ranbir Kapoor playing Dutt on screen.

Upon its release, the film has impressed the audience and the critics alike. Especially Ranbir Kapoor’s performance is garnering praises from everyone. The first-weekend collection of the film has even left Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 2’. In fact, the film has become the highest opener of 2018 so far thereby making it the highest opening film of Ranbir’s career.

However, with some section of critics pondering over the factual and fictional part presented in the film, we also came across few glaring glitches in the film which we are quite sure that you might have missed.

Here we bring you 5 glaring mistakes in the film ‘Sanju’. Have a look

1- Boman Irani 

This is perhaps the biggest mistake in the film ‘Sanju’. Actor Boman Irani was seen playing Ranbir Kapoor’s girlfriend Sonam Kapoor’s father’s role. And then he also features as Dr. JC Asthana in a recreated scene from Sanjay Dutt’s film ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’ which was used in ‘Sanju’. In a biopic how can the same person play two different roles?

2- Sanjay Dutt’s children’s age

In the initial part of the film, there’s a scene where Sanjay Dutt is sentenced a six years jail term by the Supreme Court. In that scene, we are introduced to his kids Iqra and Shahraan. However, by the end of the film where he is out of jail after serving his term, the age of his kid’s are the same.

3-Continuity error

In a scene where Sonam Kapoor barges into the washroom asking Ranbir Kapoor about her mangalsutra, there from one angle we see a cigarette dangling from Ranbir’s lips however in the very next angle the cigarette goes missing.

4-Ranbir’s shoes

Also, there’s a scene where Ranbir walks for many days and in between even takes lifts to reach his friend’s Kamli’s house. By the end, he reaches his friend’s house he almost looks like a beggar. However, later there’s a scene where is sitting on a top of a mountain and in a  close-up shot, his shoes look brand new!

5-Continuity error

The position of the cloth on the knee of the gangster changes immediately when seen from a different angle.
