At a recent appearance, Mouni reacted to plastic surgery rumours with dignity.

 At a recent media appearance, a paparazzo asked her about her thoughts on being at the receiving end of trolling. She said, “Kuch nahin. Dekhti hee nahi. Let everyone do their jobI do not pay attention to such remarks. If you hide behind a screen to troll others and if you find happiness in that so be it.”

Mouni made headlines during the trailer launch of her upcoming film, The Bhootnii, when she was spotted looking rather different from her usual self. While some wondered if she had gotten herself a lip job, others said that she went under the knife to enhance her forehead. However, after netizens were unimpressed by the look they labelled it as ‘surgery gone wrong’. In March, she shared a series of photos and a video with bangs. Even that post got similar criticism.

On the work front, Mouni is gearing up for her next big-screen outing, a horror action-comedy titled The Bhootnii. In the film, she plays a terrifying ghost named ‘Mohabbat’. Also starring Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Beyounick, and Aasif Khan, The film is scheduled to release on April 18, 2025.
