Returning from London on Saturday night, Anupam shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) at 2 am on Sunday, describing Mukul as a lively and positive person. He said, “Mera dost Mukul Dev nahi hai, it’s unbelievable. It’s so sad… Bohut zinda dil insaan hai, tha. Kaise insaan ‘tha’ hojata hai, samajh hi nahi aata.”
Anupam recalled their time working together in films like Chaar Din Ki Chandni and expressed his grief, adding, “Humne bohut waqt saath guzara… Woh hamesha acchi khushi ki baat karta tha, positive that.”

Missed by siblings Rashmi Kaushal, Rahul Dev, and nephew Sidhant Dev. Cremation will be at 5 PM at Dayanand Mukti Dham, Nizamuddin West, Delhi.”
