Sonu Sood has turned to become the messiah of the migrants all over the country. He has been helping out people in need in whichever way possible, and throughout the pandemic, he has been one person who has gained immense popularity and not by way of his films, but by way of his actions and deeds. Bollywood Bubble recently caught up with Neha Dhupia, who’s a really close friend of Sonu, and she spilt some beans about how Sonu has always been a very great guy.

Talking of Sonu Sood, Neha said, “He has always been a great friend. I think he did his first Hindi film with me. And if I may say so, I was very encouraging of him as an actor. As a person, he is lovely and there’s no doubt about that. I’ve always mentioned that he has a heart of gold and now the world sees it too. So, all and all it’s been fantastic.

Moving on, Neha also narrates an incident when the two of them were shooting for a film together in ‘Bangkok’. She said, “We both were shooting in Bangkok, Thailand, and the minute the director would call pack up, we would both rush to a mall. We were both in a phase in our lives when we were obsessed with hitting every mall. I am a big fitness freak and so is he. I used to be like we don’t have to do any cardio workout today as we would be walking so much in the malls. Luckily that time malls in Bangkok were not shut till midnight. So when we used to come back we would be so tired. We would just wish each other good night and doze off as there were call times in the morning of 6 AM or 7 AM. We were not even opening up our shopping bags, and we were just hoarding it up. It’s that phase in your life when you’re young and have just started making good money, so you have that enthusiasm of getting everything, but slowly when you get older and wiser, you know that none of that matters.

Ahh, a story which has a thoughtful message as well at the end for all. We must say, well said Neha. Indeed as one grows older and wiser, priorities change in life, and soon you realise what’s important and what’s just a phase, which will soon pass over.
