Shah Rukh Khan's look from 'Raees' movie

It has been almost three days since the release of the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan‘s ‘Raees’, and it has made quite a huge noise online. The response has been phenomenal. Now, the fans would know SRK would be seen playing Raees Alam, a bootlegger. But, they might not be aware that he dons not one or two but, three different looks in this action-thriller. Recently, Sheetal Sharma, the costume designer of the movie has revealed this in an interview.

Talking about it to an agency, Sheetal Sharma said, “The story of the film starts from a normal boy from small town to becoming a big person so you all will see that transformation in his looks. There are three different phases of his life and we had to gradually show the progression so basically he has three different looks in the film.”

Further, she even said that SRK is very open to experimenting with his looks. She said, “It’s always a pleasure to work with Shah Rukh because he is so open for experimenting with his looks. He came up with some wonderful suggestions during trials and he tries to make the character as real as possible.”

“Its a typical 80’s style look with big collars. Everything will have pastel colours and slowly moving to dark colours. We have kept the elegance intact but maintained that it shouldn’t become over board,” added the costume designer.

Isn’t that exciting enough?

Set in the period of 1980’s in Gujarat, ‘Raees’ is directed by Rahul Dholakia which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan (making her Bollywood debut) playing pivotal parts in it.

It is slated to release on January 25, 2016.
