OM The Battle Within trailer: Aditya Roy Kapur packs a punch in this actioner

Aditya Roy Kapur showed his action skills two years ago in Mohit Suri’s Malang and since then the audience had been waiting with bated breath to see more of his action avatar. And now, the actor is all set to give it to his audience with his upcoming actioner, OM The Battle Within. The trailer of OM was unveiled today and it sees Aditya packing a punch.

The trailer of OM is completely action packed and it tells the story of the best para-commando India has ever produced, played by Aditya The actor essays the titular character who has lost his memory and all he remembers is his father, played by Jackie Shroff. Om’s father has been kidnapped and accused of being a traitor to the country and Om is on a mission to prove that his father isn’t a traitor but a patriot. Sanjana Sanghi plays Om’s fellow officer while the film also stars Ashutosh Rana, Prachee Shah and Prakash Raj.

Aditya is at his physical best in the film and you can see his flexibility and agility in the action sequences. He has also maintained a ripped physique for OM and his bearded look is very sleek and sharp. His action prowess has grown since Malang and the sequences like the one on the ship and with the machine gun have given the actor the chance to prove that.

After playing the soft and delicate cancer patient Kizzie in Dil Bechara, Sanjana has taken a full 180 degree turn and is getting to explore her action side as well. The film focuses on patriotism and family and the trailer has been able to bring that out successfully. It’s surely going to be an action fest.

OM is directed by Kapil Verma and produced by Ahmed Khan, Shaira Khan and Zee Studios. The film is looking at a theatrical release on July 1.
