Rohit Shetty

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, whose ‘Golmaal Returns’ became one of the biggest blockbusters of 2008, says he finds the film nothing more than a crap piece.

Shetty was present at a panel discussion at the 18th JIO MAMI Film Festival Mumbai where he said,  “I start getting that feeling when you are going wrong. My films are hardcore commercial films catering to a particular audience. So, you start getting that feeling that it won’t work at that level. I have been right about it twice or thrice.”

“Golmaal Returns was the biggest hit of those days…in 2008. But we knew, it’s a crap film,” he added.

However, the audience seemed to simply love this comedy flick starring Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Kareena Kapoor Khan among others.
