When the original ‘Padman’ told Twinkle Khanna that she looked like Raveena Tandon!

With ‘Mrs Funnybones’, Twinkle Khanna is set to venture into production. Her first project as a producer is going to be ‘PadMan’ directed by R Balki and starring hubby Akshay Kumar.

As we had earlier reported, the story is based on the real life story of Muruganantham, a man who invented a machine to produce sanitary napkins for a cheap cost. Twinkle could catch the man after eight long months of chasing him, but their meeting was not so pleasant!

Recently during a conversation with HT, Twinkle revealed how the original Padman found her to be a look-alike of Raveena Tandon! (Also Read: Raveena Tandon on Salman Khan: He was always there for me when I needed him)

Many of you are already aware of Akshay Kumar’s once-upon-a-time intense romantic equation with Raveena. The two parted ways after Raveena apparently came to know she was being double-timed. A comparison with her husband’s former love is not exactly the compliment Twinkle was looking for!

“I was about to drop his story”, she chuckled.

She also shared how she received a bag of napkins at her home and responded to the sender saying they were Pampers!

And thus, the deadly ‘look alike’ joke came to an end forever!
