Orry Questioned For 7.5 Hours By Anti-Narcotics Cell In Rs 252 Cr Dr*gs Case; Mumbai Police Claims, “He Is Not Cooperating”- Report

Social media influencer Orry, whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, appeared before the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Crime Branch’s Ghatkopar Unit on Wednesday as part of an ongoing Rs 252-crore dr*gs case. He was summoned by authorities to answer questions related to the investigation. Orry arrived at the ANC office around 1:30 PM and left at approximately 9:00 PM after being questioned for nearly 7.5 hours.

Orry Questioned For 7.5 Hours

The ANC had issued a formal summons for Orry’s appearance on Wednesday. He was initially summoned by the court on November 20 but informed officials that he would be unavailable until November 25. Following his request, a new summons was issued, requiring him to appear on November 26. After an extensive interrogation, Orry exited the ANC office without speaking to the media. Notably, Bollywood actor Siddhanth Kapoor was also questioned for nearly 5 hours on Tuesday, November 25, in the same case.

Orry, Siddhant Kapoor Not Cooperating

According to Police Sources, as mentioned by Newsbytes, the Mumbai Crime Branch reported that Orry did not share much during his questioning. He maintained that he has no connection with Salim Sohail Shaikh and claimed he does not know him. Orry also stated that he often attends Bollywood parties but insists dr*gs are not involved in those events. He also stated that he doesn’t consume or associate with dr*gs. He claimed his visits are solely for socialising and taking photos.

Similarly, Siddhant Kapoor, brother of actress Shraddha Kapoor, was questioned for five hours. But he is also not cooperating fully with investigators. Authorities found a new mobile phone in his possession. When asked about the device, Siddhant claimed his old phone was broken. And he purchased a new one just two days prior.

As of now, Orry’s questioning has concluded. But authorities are reportedly dissatisfied with his responses and may call him back for further questioning. Siddhant Kapoor may also be summoned again as the investigation continues.
