Shahid Kapoor talks about his film Padmavati

‘Padmavati’; the movie has garnered enough curiosity, since its inception. Many would be aware of this fact that the Shri Rajput Karni Sena is against the film because as per them it shows Rani Padmavati in a bad light. Apart from this, they are against one rumoured scene which was to be a dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and Sultan Alauddin Khilji. Not only this, to avoid any personal damage, the filmmaker has been given 24-hour police protection, till the movie hits the theatres. Recently, actor Shahid Kapoor, who plays the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh in the film made his way to GQ Fashion Night 2017 where he was asked about his opinion on this issue which is against the film.

The actor replied to this saying, “See! I am saying the same thing for the past few months that please watch the film and then decide for yourself. Please give the film a chance. Please don’t make any pre-conceived notions before watching the film.” (Also Check: Deepika-Shahid twin at GQ Night, is this the start of ‘Padmavati’ promotions?)
