Mahira Khan joined fellow Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Hania Aamir in condemning the recent terror attack in Pahalgam on social media, although she later deleted her post. On April 22, a brutal attack in South Kashmir left at least 26 people dead and over 10 injured. Reports indicate that the attackers asked victims about their religion before opening fire.

Numerous Pakistani artists, along with Indian celebrities, expressed their condolences and condemned the horrific incident. Mahira Khan was among those who spoke out, sharing sentiments on her official Instagram story at around 9 PM on April 24. She wrote, “Violence anywhere in the world, in any shape or form is an act of mere cowardice. My condolences to all those affected by the attack in Pahalgam. #pahalgamattack.” However, her post was removed just hours later, and a screenshot of the deleted story circulated online.

Fawad Khan And Hania Amir React To Pahalgam Terror Attack
Earlier on the same day, Fawad Khan, amid calls for a boycott of his upcoming Bollywood film Abir Gulaal. He had expressed his sorrow over the attack,“Deeply saddened to hear the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this horrifying incident, and we pray for strength and healing for their families in this difficult time.”

Meanwhile, Hania Aamir shared her thoughts, saying, “Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope—we are one. When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone—it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always.”
