Actor Paresh Rawal responded on Monday to a fan’s post on X that referred to him as the ‘hero’ of the ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise. The 70-year-old was expressing gratitude to his fans for their wishes when he highlighted a message urging him to reconsider his decision to exit the comedy series.

Rawal addressed a fan on X who called him the ‘hero’ of ‘Hera Pheri’ and replied politely with a folded-hands emoji. The fan had written, “Sir, please think. Once again to join HERA FERI movie. You are the hero of this movie,” to which Rawal corrected him, stating, “NO, there are Three Heroes in Hera Pheri.”

The veteran actor, renowned for his impeccable comic timing in Hindi cinema, announced in May that he would no longer be part of ‘Hera Pheri 3’. This decision came after he had filmed some promos, and the team was preparing to commence shooting the film next year.
Paresh’s Exit From Hera Pheri 3
Rawal clarified that his departure was not related to director Priyadarshan. Following the announcement, fans of the franchise expressed their disappointment and urged him to reconsider. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, who stars alongside Rawal and Suniel Shetty in the film, has sued Rawal for Rs 25 crore. The legal case is currently pending. As of now, there has been no official update on who will replace Rawal in ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
Akhsay Defends Paresh’s Exit
During the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Housefull 5, Kumar was asked about fans’ disappointment over Rawal’s exit from Hera Pheri 3 and their calling Rawal “foolish.” Kumar responded that it is “not right” to refer to his “good friend” Rawal in such a manner. According to reports from news portals, a source close to the project mentioned that filming for Hera Pheri 3 is scheduled for 2026, and only a promo has been shot so far.
