She has been one of the most looked-forward to actresses of the gen-next. Now, that she is trying to push the envelope, it seems that she has finally hit the bulls eye with a script that suits her real life persona to the core. For those who’ve come in late, ‘The Girl On The Train’ is a psychological thriller novel by British author Paula Hawkins released in 2015. The central character, which was played by Emily in the film, is someone who is quite confused about what’s real and what’s unreal. She is confused in her life and that’s one of the prime reasons why we believe Parineeti is the perfect choice for the role.

Trade Expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the news. He wrote, “ANNOUNCEMENT… Parineeti Chopra to star in the official #Hindi remake of mystery-thriller #TheGirlOnTheTrain… The film – not titled yet – starts in July 2019 in #UK… Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta… Produced by Reliance Entertainment and Amblin Entertainment… 2020 release (sic).”

Parineeti was last seen in a small cameo appearance in ‘Kesari’ opposite Akshay Kumar. She will next be seen in ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ opposite Arjun Kapoor. The film has been getting delayed since last year. Then, Parineeti also has ‘Jabariya Jodi’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra, the shoot for which wrapped up last week. Also, Parineeti will start prepping for the Saina Nehwal biopic ‘Saina’. Last, but not the least, Parineeti will be seen in the multi-starrer ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’.
