Here’s why Parineeti Chopra rejected Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal

Parineeti Chopra is one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood. Parineeti Chopra is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Uunchai. The actress will be seen sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani in the same. For the uninitiated, Parineeti was offered a role in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal. However, she opted out of the film and was later replaced by Rashmika Mandanna.

In an interview with India Today, Parineeti revealed the reason behind turning down Animal. The actress said, “These things happen, it is a part and parcel of life. We must make such choices every day. You make the choice that is right for you.”

Parineeti went on to add that with directors like Ribhu Dasgupta and Dibakar Banerjee, she found a place to show her mettle when things weren’t working out for her. She added, “Today when I sit down with a producer and director, it is very different from what it used to be in my lowest time. Honestly, it is all thanks to Dibakar and Ribbu who gave me roles when people did not think I could. I hold on to that.”

On the other hand, a few days ago, Parineeti shared Uunchai trailer. The trailer received a great response from fans. Parieenti had shared the video along with the caption, “A feeling that can’t be put in words. An energy that will stay with me for a lifetime. It’s special. It’s #Uunchai!”

Reacting to the video, a fan had dropped a comment saying, “Wow.” Another one commented, “Too good.” “Superb and look emotional,” wrote a fan. Another one commented, “Damn superb.”
