Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan, has reportedly been postponed as post-production work is still underway, and a new release date is yet to be announced. The film, which also features Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh, has been generating significant buzz. Originally scheduled for a March 4 release, the latest updates indicate that the release has been delayed due to incomplete post-production, including a pending song shoot.

According to a Bollywood Hungama source, “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will not hit theatres on March 4 as planned. The post-production isn’t finished yet, and there’s still a song to be shot. The makers are committed to delivering a quality film and don’t want to rush the process. They want to invest the necessary time to ensure the final product is both entertaining and appealing. Therefore, they have decided to postpone the release. A new date will be announced soon.”

With the March 4 window currently open and no other films announced for that date, it will be interesting to see which movie fills the slot. The same source added, “The holy month of Ramzan begins around then. And films like Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Toxic are scheduled to release two weeks later, on March 19. Additionally, the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup semi-finals and finals will take place between March 4 and 8. However, since Holi falls on a Wednesday, releasing on March 4 could give a film a beneficial five-day extended weekend and a chance for a two-week run. All eyes are now on which film chooses to take this vacant date.”

The makers recently unveiled the first poster of this highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh. The caption read, “Har pati ki hoti hai apni ek aflatoon duniya… Jo unko bhale hi satati ho, magar hum sabki badha hasati hai! This film marks director Mudassar Aziz’s return to the franchise after the first instalment. It starred Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday. The new version promises a fresh twist with an ensemble cast and more outrageous comic situations.
