‘Peepli Live’ director convicted for raping a 35-year-old American woman

Last year, a 35-year-old American woman had alleged that ‘Peepli Live’ co-director, Mahmood Farooqui, had raped her. Today, Delhi Saket Court convicted him for raping the woman.

In a couple of tweets, ANI posted, “Delhi’s Saket court convicts Peepli Live co-director Mahmood Farooqui for raping a 35 year old American woman in 2015. Delhi’s Saket Court fixes August 2 for arguments on quantum of sentence.”
