Phone Bhoot trailer: Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, Siddhant Chaturvedi’s scary trio will tickle your funny bone

Ever since it was announced that Katrina Kaif was teaming up with Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi for a horror-comedy, there was a lot of excitement for this team up and the actress’ return to the comedy genre. Today, the trailer of Phone Bhoot has been released and the comic caper is promising a lot of scares along with loads of laughter.

Phone Bhoot trailer features Katrina as a ghost who comes to these two young guys played by Ishaan and Siddhant, who have the capability of seeing ghosts, with a business plan. Together they form a trio of ‘bhoot-busters’ and have some hilarious ghostly encounters that will surely leave you ROFL. The trailer also sees Jackie Shroff in the antagonistic role who captures departed souls and prevents them from passing on peacefully.

The trailer is indeed like a breath of fresh air as along with the fresh casting and their amazing chemistry, it also offers genuine laughs and jump scares. The comic timing of all the three actors seem so on point and special credit in that department needs to be given to Katrina who is seemingly stealing the show in every frame she is coming in. The ending clip of her questioning another ghost, played by Sheeba Chaddha, on her Hindi speaking skills is just too hilarious. Even Ishaan and Siddhant have some amazing moments like the one where the latter gets slapped by a child ghost with her saying “bohot hard” and Ishaan chanting Koi Mil Gaya’s ‘Om Om’ with an enchanting stick.

In a film like this, the most necessary part is the chemistry between the lead trio and Katrina, Ishaan and Siddhant seem perfectly in sync throughout the trailer. The first glimpse of their camaraderie was already seen when the trio made an appearance together on Koffee With Karan 7, leaving the fans excited. Now, the trailer has lived up to that hype and even increased the curiosity for the film. Phone Bhoot is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and it releases theatrically on November 4, 2022.
