Prakash Raj SLAMS Fake Tweet On PM Narendra Modi’s Mother; Quips, “The Joke Is On You Fools”

Prakash Raj responded firmly to an X user who shared a screenshot of a fake tweet in which Raj allegedly mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother, Hiraben. The user criticised Raj for condoling with his mother’s death while supposedly disrespecting the PM’s mother.

In his reply, Prakash Raj clarified that the tweet was entirely fabricated. He tweeted, “Bigots creating a FAKE tweet in my name and abusing their own leader on AprilFoolsDay .. the joke is on you Fools justasking (sic).” Known for his outspoken nature, Raj often responds to trolls and has a history of viral posts that sometimes stir controversy.

The actor’s mother, Swarnalatha Raj, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, after battling health issues related to old age. Her funeral was held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in Bengaluru, with family, friends, and industry members in attendance.
