Preity Zinta Breaks Silence On Punjab Kings Loss To RCB In IPL 2025; Says, “The Job Is Only Half Done”

Actress Priety Zinta recently shared a heartfelt, emotional message for her team, Punjab Kings, after their heartbreaking defeat to RCB in the IPL 2025 finals. Bollywood star Preity Zinta has finally spoken out about her team’s loss in the recently concluded IPL season. The team performed exceptionally well throughout the tournament and reached the finals. But ultimately fell to the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 6 runs.

Preity Zinta Pens Heartfelt Note For Team Punjab Kings After Losing IPL 2025

The actress was seen cheering passionately at all her team’s matches. The actress wrote an emotional note following their loss in the finals. In her message, she mentioned that the work was ‘half done’ and expressed her determination to come back next year. The Veer Zara actress took to Instagram to post a photo of the Punjab Kings players, led by cricketer Shreyas Iyer.

She captioned the image, saying, “It didn’t end the way we wanted it to, but… the journey was spectacular! It was exciting, entertaining & inspiring. I loved the fight & the grit our young team, our shers showed throughout the tournament.”

Celebrating the captain and thanking fans for their unwavering support, PZ shared an emotional note. She wrote, “I loved the way our captain, our Sarpanch, led from the front & how Indian uncapped players dominated this IPL!. I am so proud of every single player of Punjab Kings for demonstrating so much character throughout the season. A big thank you to each of them, our support staff, and everyone at PBKS for an incredible journey. Most importantly, a HEARTFELT THANK YOU to our – SHER SQUAD – our FANS who stood with us through thick and thin. Whatever we have achieved and how far we’ve come is all because of you,” she added.

Concluding her message, the team owner assured fans, “I promise we will come back to finish the job because, for now, the job is only half done. See you next year in the stadium — until then, take care and stay safe, everyone. Love you all.”

For those who may not know, after a fierce fight in the nail-biting finals, Punjab Kings narrowly lost to RCB by just 6 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
