The Coronavirus induced pandemic has crippled the entire world. Slowly and steadily things are getting back on track but still the virus can’t be taken lightly, and that’s exactly what Preity Zinta conveyed through her latest post.

Sharing how helpless she felt when several of her family members had tested positive for Covid-19, Preity took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “Three weeks ago my Mom, brother, his wife, kids & my uncle all tested positive for Covid. Suddenly terms like ventilators, ICU and oxygen machines took a new meaning. I felt helpless & powerless here in America, far away as he battled it out in the hospital. I’m so grateful to the almighty and to all those wonderful doctors & nurses that worked tirelessly to take care of them ?.”

For those who are still not taking the virus seriously, Preity wrote, “For all of you who don’t take Covid seriously please be warned that this can become dangerous overnight so please take care, wear a mask & practice social distancing.”

Now that her family members have tested negative for the deadly virus, Preity finally relieved. “Today, after hearing that they have all tested negative I can finally fall asleep & stop stressing. Finally, the New Year feels like a Happy New year ❤️ #Thankyou #Doctors #Nurses ? #Grateful #Ting(sic),” the ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ actress signed off.

Alongside the post, the actress also shared a picture of her family. You can check her entire post below.
