Preity Zinta Slams VIRAL Hugging Photos With 14-Year-Old IPL Player Vaibhav Suryavanshi; Says, “So Surprised News Channels Are…”

Bollywood actress and Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta slammed the falsely showed her hugging Rajasthan Royals’ 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi after their IPL 2025 match in Jaipur. She expressed her anger over the fake image and stated that she was ‘surprised’ to see such pictures going viral on the internet.

Preity Zinta Angrily Responds to Viral Morphed Pics With Vaibhav Suryavanshi

Preity Zinta took to her X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “This is a morphed image and fake news. Am so surprised now news channels are also using morphed images and featuring them as news items.”

The Rajasthan Royals posted a video of Vaibhav chatting with Preity on social media following their game against the Punjab Kings. The actress was heard saying to Sooryavanshi, “Nice meeting you,” before moving aside. Preity does not appear to be hugging Vaibhav in the video, though.

The video posted on Rajasthan Royals’ X handle, was set to the song Koi Mil Gaya and captioned, “Flex levels at school: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.’“

Preity Zinta’s Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Preitye was last seen in the movie Bhaiaji Superhit, which was released in 2018. She is preparing for her comeback in the industry with Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1947. This project marks a significant milestone for her, as it’s her first film after a hiatus. Produced under Aamir Khan’s banner, Lahore 1947 is also notable for bringing together Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan’s production teams for this meaningful collaboration.
